Technical requirements for training
For stable work and training you need to use a PC with Windows or MacOS operating system, a stable and reliable Internet connection and a modern web browser. On smartphones and tablets, the platform can be opened in Chrome and Safari mobile browsers.

Cookies and JavaScript must also be enabled in the browser. These are usually enabled by default, but if you think these settings might need to be enabled, in the documentation for your specific browser, how to do this. You need to enable pop-ups for your browser. Refer to the “Help” section for your specific browser on how to enable pop-ups. Many courses have office documents in which you will need access to Microsoft Office. Some courses may have documents in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format, so you will need a PDF reader. You can download Adobe Reader for free https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
Personal data of users
Personal data is stored and transmitted securely.
The system uses multi-factor authentication to prevent unauthorized access. This includes the need for users to provide both a username and a password. Students have the ability to recover forgotten passwords.

Minimum Technical Requirements for the Distance ACCA Exam
Operating system:
Windows 10 (64-bit), Windows 8.1 (64-bit) (all editions except “RT”). Not older than Mac OS 10.13 (except beta)
Notes:

Any OS based on Linux and Unix is strictly prohibited for use when passing the exam.
Firewall:
Do not connect to the exam over a network that uses a corporate firewall (including VPN), or inform your network administrator of the system configuration requirements. We recommend that you take the exam using a personal computer. Work devices usually have additional limitations that can lead to difficulties in completing exam assignments.
Device:
The use of any type of tablet is strictly prohibited unless an external mechanical keyboard is added to it and meets the requirements below:
RAM – The minimum amount of RAM required to run an OS of 4 GB or higher.
The screen has a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 with a color depth of 16 bits. The use of additional monitors is prohibited.
Web browser.
The latest version is Microsoft Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer 11. Cookies must be allowed to be used. Pop-up blockers must be disabled.
Internet connection.
In order to optimize the operating mode, you need to ensure a reliable and stable connection speed of 3 Mb / s for download and 2 Mb / s for distribution. Whenever possible, we recommend using a wired connection instead of a wireless one when taking the exam.
If you are taking the exam from home, you should ask your resident to refrain from using the Internet during the exam. The use of mobile hotspots is strictly prohibited.
Webcam.
The webcam must have a minimum resolution of 640×480 at a frame rate of 10 frames / sec. It can be built-in or externally connected to the computer. Mac OS users may need to change the system settings in the “System Setup: Security and Privacy: Privacy” section to give OnVUE access to the microphone, camcorder, Automation settings, and Input Monitoring.
Sound and microphone.
Make sure that the sound from the speakers and the microphone are not blocked by Windows settings. Power supply.
Before the exam, you should make sure your computer is plugged into an electrical outlet to avoid draining the battery during the exam.
